Jason (Jay) Morris has an entrepreneurial spirit and planned to own his own business, but when the opportunity arose for him to take a lead role in the firm, he gladly accepted the challenge.

Accident Benefits Consultants (ABC), created in 1994 by The Morris Law Group, assists clients through the accident benefit process. Jay joined ABC as a Principal Consultant in 1995.

As insurance companies are pressured to make more profit, often a client’s needs get compromised. The ABC team is there to advocate and mediate during the accident benefit process.

Jay graduated in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Toronto. He also has a diploma in Business Administration from Sheridan College, with a specialization in marketing.

With over 15 years of experience, Jay has become an expert in the field of no-fault legislation and keeps current on all of the ongoing changes to the regulations. Jay has also represented client needs, resolving disputes with almost all of the insurance companies and adjusters in the industry.

It is Jay’s love of negotiation, empathy for his clients, knowledge of the law, and interpersonal savvy that enables him to level the playing field for clients when dealing with insurance companies. Jay is well known for advocating vigorously on behalf of his clients.

He is an active member of both the Hamilton Medical-Legal Society and the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association. He is licensed as a paralegal with the Law Society of Upper Canada.
