Lisa Penick grew up wanting to fight for those who could not fight for themselves. As a high achiever with a strong work ethic, Lisa attended Queen’s University where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in environmental studies and graduated with first class standing.
While attending the University of Windsor to obtain her Bachelor of Laws, Lisa volunteered with the Community Legal Aid Clinic as a litigator where she discovered her passion for litigation. This led Lisa to apply for her articling position with The Morris Law Group, one of Hamilton’s pre-eminent personal injury law firms. Lisa joined the firm as an associate lawyer following her call to the Ontario Bar in June 2008.
Having played team sports all her life, Lisa loves the team approach that The Morris Law Group takes with every case. Each client is assigned a group of lawyers and consultants who are dedicated to getting them what they need and deserve.
Lisa’s approachability and concern for her client’s situation makes her stand out. To Lisa, a client is never just another case, each person is an individual. Lisa fully dedicates herself to each client, knowing that what she and her team are able to accomplish for a client will often change his or her life.
Lisa is currently a member of The Hamilton Law Association, The Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, and The Hamilton Medical-Legal Society.
Lisa is also a sports enthusiast, having played rugby at the National level, varsity golf, and is currently a member of several volleyball teams.
