OUR PEOPLE - Lawrence Hatfield

Lawrence’s clients get to work with more than a personal injury lawyer specializing in motor vehicle accidents and slip and falls. They’re working with a qualified combat engineer and paratrooper, who has been involved with the military for 16 years.

Lawrence came to the firm in 1998 as an articling student. Since his call to the Ontario Bar in 2000, he has continued to practice at the Morris Law Group.

A Newfoundland native, Lawrence received his law degree from the University of Windsor in 1998. Prior to this, he graduated from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 1995 with an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree. He also has completed university diploma programs in Criminology and Public Administration.

He is a member of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, Hamilton Law Association and the Hamilton Medical-Legal Society. In addition to being active in the law community, Lawrence devotes a significant amount of his time with the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, where he’s a Rifle Company Commander and as a Big Brother with Big Brothers of Canada. He’s also a former member of the Ontario Provincial Police Auxiliary.
