Bill is widely recognized as a pioneer and innovator in personal injury law. He founded his own firm in 1963. The Morris Law Group was the first law firm in Ontario to hire a full-time occupational therapist and registered nurse to provide expert medical advice and support for his clients. Bill also saw the need to provide ongoing support for his clients throughout the claims process. He created a separate company, Accident Benefit Consultants, to provide that assistance.

A champion for the rights of injured persons, Mr. Morris has an enviable track record of winning complex, challenging personal injury cases. He is actively involved in many of the firm’s cases and works closely with the firm’s lawyers, health professionals and accident benefits consultants to ensure clients receive the settlements they deserve.

Mr. Morris is the 2006 recipient of the Emelius Irving Award, given by the Hamilton Law Association in recognition of distinguished service to the legal community.

Bill has addressed legal, medical and insurance organizations across Canada over the years in personal injury matters. He has served as President of the Hamilton Law Association, President of the Hamilton Medical/Legal Society, President of the Hamilton Jewish Federation, President of the League for Human Right of Canada. In addition, he has served the public in many executive and member capacities.

He has represented clients in the Superior Court of Ontario, the Supreme Court of Ontario, and Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada.
