After completing a Bachelor degree in sociology from McMaster University in 2003, Brent began a career with the Children’s Aid Society of Hamilton where he worked with families for nearly ten years as a family service worker. This experience solidified a desire to advocate for those going through challenging times and contributed to Brent’s desire to enter the field of law. During this period, Brent obtained a Masters degree in sociology from the University of Guelph in 2006, and a Juris Doctor degree in law from the University of Western Ontario in 2013.
Brent’s practice focuses primarily on helping people who have been seriously injured or lost a loved one due to the fault of others whether as a result of a motor vehicle accident, slip and fall, or medical malpractice. Brent’s practice also includes such areas as short/long term disability claims, statutory accident benefits, and professional negligence. Brent prides himself in his ability to help clients understand and feel informed and in control through the various stages of the litigation process.
Brent articled with The Morris Law Group and returned as an Associate after his call to the Bar of Ontario. Brent is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, the Hamilton Law Association and the Hamilton Medical-Legal Society
