What does “no-fault insurance” mean?
In jurisdictions like Ontario, “no-fault insurance” allows all injured parties to seek compensation and/or accident benefits following an automobile accident regardless of who caused the accident. Past and future income loss and future medical treatments may also be claimed either from your own or the other driver’s insurance companies. Since the no-fault insurance system is so complex and because every accident is unique, it is imperative to speak to a qualified legal representative about your case as soon as possible.
